Struggling KCET-TV Los Angeles is indeed selling its 3.5-acre studio lot to the Church of Scientology, reports Variety. The Los Angeles Times floated the rumor earlier this year, and now Variety reports that "the station will relocate within a year to a new production facility....It's unclear what Scientology intends to do with the Sunset Boulevard lot, which encompasses three soundstages. The church is known to have an existing production facility in Hemet, Calif." [Variety]
