Funky Mid-Century In Lake Hollywood Knolls Returns

New, 8 comments

A tipster passes on this listing for this Lake Hollywood Knolls home, a residence which was first featured on the site back in 2009. According to the tipster, the original designer and owner, the late Lorand West, who designed L.A. restaurants such as Morton's and The Ivy and Trumps, built the house in 1959 as his personal residence. More from the source: "In fact, the circular roof was originally designed to be a helicopter landing pad. The next owner added the second story on top of what was once the landing pad. He also added Frank Lloyd Wright inspired interiors." The two-story, 3 bedroom, 2.75 bath home is priced at $1.399 million, up from the 2009 price of $1.295 million.
