A-woooogah! We must confess we were not familiar with architect Leron Austin Hester before today, but going by the photos of this Pasadena post-and-beam he designed in 1963, we certainly like the cut of his jib. Located in the southwest San Rafael Hills, the 2,354-square-foot home features four bedrooms, three baths (one with a two-person shower), two fireplaces, teak paneling and cabinetry, built-in bookcases, wood and terrazzo floors, full copper plumbing, original custom lighting, and a koi pond. Last sold in 2004 for $950,000, it's now listed at $1.35 million.
