A couple of tipsters have passed on renderings for the second phase of developer CIM Group's Midtown Crossing project, which will bring a Lowe's department store and other retailers to a triangle wedge in Mid-City. Opening at the intersection of Pico and San Vicente blvds, the second phase of this project, which is being designed by Long Beach-based architecture firm Studio One Eleven is expected to be finished next year. A rep for CIM Group tells us that the project is on schedule. The first phase, which includes the Starbucks pictured in the rendering, already exists.
