Today's spelunking expedition of Craigslist brings to light news of a vacancy in the Krotona colony's Ternary building. According to a 2010 LA Times feature on the Theosophical Society colony, the Spanish-Moorish structure on Temple Hill Drive was designed by Pasadena architect Arthur Heineman in 1915, and served as a lecture hall and guest quarters for prominent Krotona members. Alas, the ad is woefully skimpy on details about the available unit, divulging only that it has one bedroom, one bath, and an ocean view. Monthly rent is $1,645, including utilities.
