There is definitely Legionella pneumophila bacteria, and possibly H1N1 influenza, in one of the spas at the Playboy Mansion (and also probably HPV, let's be honest here), according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Dozens of conference attendees came down with something in February after attending events around LA--several were diagnosed with a respiratory illness associated with the bacteria, while others were diagnosed with H1N1. It's been known unofficially for years, but now the county has made it official: exposure to the Playboy Mansion is "associated with increased risk for illness." [LAT]
