"A scarcity of tickets and expanded camping options at the Empire Polo Grounds have led to cancellations, hotel owners and managers surveyed by The Desert Sun said, leaving hoteliers scrambling to fill rooms for one of the area’s biggest weekends. Calls to more than a dozen hotels found an unusual number of available rooms for the weekend."
