It was noted in January that Culver City was working on developing a shuttle service to close the half-mile gap between their Expo Line station, opening early 2012, and the downtown center and restaurant and furniture store-laden Hayden Tract. The Culver City Patch reports that the city council and the city's redevelopment agency worked out an agreement to establish a business improvement district. Through taxes levied on area businesses, the BID will help finance a $60,000 shuttle bus that will connect the three destinations at no cost to riders. [Culver City Patch]
