Apparently a lot of people enjoy looking at porn on the free computers at Los Angeles' libraries, but when there's kids and other patrons around, things get a little problematic. The issue was brought up today at a city subcommittee meeting. It sounds like they want to outfit most of the computers with "privacy screens." There's no description but we are imagining that the screens look like those post-op cones they put on dogs' heads. "Privacy screens on public computers are the city of Los Angeles’ answer to patrons who view pornography in libraries, a Los Angeles City Council committee was told today."
