Rumors have been going around for a few weeks now that Scottish celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay--who has a restaurant in West Hollywood's London hotel--is planning on moving to town, and now News of the World thinks it's dug up his rental (which it says he is "believed to be in talks to buy"). According to it's listing, the Bel Air house was built in just the last few years, and has seven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, a pool, a multi-purpose court, a library, a dining room, and, naturally, a "gourmet kitchen." The tabloid says the Ramsays are paying $164,000 per month, but considering that it was off on the number of bedrooms (and that it's the News of the World), take the whole report with a grain of fancy garnish salt. The house just sold in May 2010 for $16.25 million, and was listed again last fall. It's currently asking $18.75 million. The notoriously ornery Ramsay has several Michelin stars, is Order of the British Empire, and hosts "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares." He's also planning on opening a pub here with his friend, fellow Brit expat David Beckham.
