Ray Kappe's Moderne-ish Scheimer Residence has sold, but then we knew it was getting a lot of interest. The 1985 house, which is right on Manhattan Beach's Strand, was first listed in February 2010, asking $13.5 million. After one chop, it closed escrow last week.
