The Los Angeles Times series on the waste and misuse of funds in the Community College District construction program didn't get much traction in the larger mediasphere, but it did cost someone his job. "Community College Board of Trustees voted Wednesday to terminate the contract of Larry Eisenberg, the head of its troubled bond-financed construction program, effective Saturday," according to the Los Angeles Times'.
