All those Los Angeles Unified School District construction sites? The Daily News reports that more than a dozen construction sites may be shut down this Friday unless certified construction inspectors show up at the areas. "Certified letters sent March 4 by the Division of the State Architect warn that stop-work orders may be issued if the district misses its deadline for providing inspectors to 'competently, adequately and continuously' oversee the construction and renovation projects." As the paper previously reported, the LAUSD laid off dozens of inspectors last year. [Daily News]
