We're still fine-tuning our high-speed rail through the Valley (should it come to fruition), but Japan started service on its newest speedy landlubber this weekend, reports the Huffington Post. The Hayabusa train moves at 186 miles per hour, travels between Tokyo and the northern city of Aomori, and kind of looks like a blue anteater. HuffPo says former governor Schwarzenegger rode one of the Hayabusa trains when he visited Japan in September to take a gander at Asia's high-speed rail systems. [Huffington Post]
