When it came out that MGM was going to be taking William Morris Endeavor's glassy blue Beverly Hills building off its hands a few months ago, some rumormongers thought WME would just stay put at its nearby Wilshire Boulevard headquarters. But now the Hollywood Reporter hears that the agency is eyeing space in the still-under-construction Red Building at West Hollywood's Pacific Design Center. And to make it more fun, rival United Talent Agency has also taken the tour, according to developer Charles Cohen. The operative color, as always, is green: rents at the 400,000 square foot building will be about $5 per square foot and each agency wants about 100,000 to 200,000 square feet. Architect Cesar Pelli clearly hadn't considered agents when he worried that "not many people will want to work in a bright red building."
