Boston's Emerson College isn't the only school bringing East Coast students to LA to study in the entertainment business. New York's Syracuse University, which currently has a West LA satellite campus, is building a new campus in Sherman Oaks, according to the Daily News. "While classes are currently held at local studios, the new Sherman Oaks building will consolidate those courses into one location and be closer to Toluca Lake apartments where the students are housed. The 7,500-square-foot space will also host conference rooms for workshops and meetings with prospective students." Most famous current Syracuse alum: Writer and producer Aaron Sorkin. [Daily News]
