A few months ago, it seemed (to us, at least) as if just about every other house coming onto the market was a mid-century modern post-and-beam. Lately, however, it feels like we've been coming across quite a few rather lovely Spanish-style homes in the new listings. One recent example that attracted our attention is this four-bedroom, four-bath property located a block north of Beverly in Hancock Park. Built in 1933, the "impeccably maintained" 3,114-square-foot home features, per its listing, "ornate ceilings, arches, French doors and windows, beams and moldings, hardwood floors, extensive tile work, classic fireplace, and more." Asking price is $1.299 million, or $417 per square foot.
