Urban Ruins: Spruce Goose Edition

New, 27 comments

This past weekend, the LA Conservancy led a tour through the rarely-open-to-the-public Hughes Aircraft Company campus in Playa Vista, including Building 15, the famous Spruce Goose hangar. The site, which was built mostly between 1942 and 1952 in the International Style, is about to be adaptively reused into a creative campus.
