Future Angelenos Will Still Jog

New, 7 comments

Spot.us asks the age-old question: "What will Los Angeles look like in 2030?" and answers with a vision of a sunny urban utopia. Yay! In 2030, Angelenos will have ditched their cars, and buses will dominate (there'll be some rail too). Downtown will have "world-class parks, cultural centers, urban lakes and live theaters," and everyone will telecommute from live/work/play buildings, where "you can conduct a virtual meeting with a client before slipping on your running shoes to go for a jog." AECOM's Vaughan Davies predicts "a Manhattan on the West Coast." But with more jogging, right? [Pictured: Michael Maltzan's vision of LA in 2030] [Spot.us]
