Back in December, the Source reported that studies were soon commencing on a transit project on Van Nuys Blvd. and noted that a light-rail was being considered (an option that was news to most). But in a recent Daily News story on the $2 million launch of a Metro study on the Van Nuys corridor, there's no mention of a train, only an Orange Line-esque busway on Van Nuys Boulevard, between Burbank Blvd. and Plummer Street. UPDATE: Actually, a source tells us that the train option may still be under consideration, this study was just for the bus. Stay tuned. [Daily News]
