Citing the close moon, the unusual sperm whale pod siting near Catalina, the mass fish appearances in Acapulco, and the Redondo Beach sardine die-off, self-proclaimed earthquake predictor Jim Berkland says there's going to be a 6.0 in southern California between March 19 and 26 (mostly like tomorrow). The sardines tested positive for a neurotoxin found in algae, some people think the fish swarm in Mexico was caused by the Japanese tsunami, and there's been little correlation found between the moon's position and large earthquakes, but hey, if it takes your mind off the nuclear plume.
