The infamous Patty Hearst-associated militant group the Symbionese Liberation Army is getting its own permanent exhibit at the Los Angeles Police Historical Society in Highland Park. It'll cover the SLA's formation in the Bay Area, its fugitive members, and the 1974 Central-Alameda shootout between members and the LAPD in which most of the members were killed. The historical society's executive director tells the Daily News "It's a case of enduring interest." [LADN]
