The Los Angeles Times reports that the 202-unit Del Rey Shores apartment complex is coming down, set to be replaced by a new apartment complex called the Shores. A total of 12, yes, 12 smaller buildings is coming. "Nadel Architects Inc. designed Shores in 12 four- and five-story buildings to replace 32 two-story buildings. The new development would have a larger courtyard with a pool, spas, outdoor fire pits and barbecues." [LAT]
