But will the CRA money be around? The Community Redevelopment Agency has received bids from six different firms wanting to develop a project on the site of the former Little Joe's restaurant in Chinatown, reports The Downtown News. The planned project, known as Blossom Plaza, was stalled in 2009 when Bond Cos. filed for bankruptcy. The city, with the CRA, bought the 1.9-acre plot last year for almost $10 million in hopes of reigniting the project. Now an evaluation committee will suss out the bids, though there's no timeline for a decision. [Downtown News]
