Rodarte at MOCA, New Union Station Flea Market, LA Fashion Week

WEST HOLLYWOOD: Racked reviews Rodarte: States of Matter, showing now at the MOCA Pacific Design Center. The exhibition is your big chance to see the "Black Swan" costumes up close, "with their feathers, unfinished edges, and carefully selected and layered fabrics rotating slowly from ceiling-mounted wires." See if you can spot some fake Portman blood.

DOWNTOWN: Truckit Fest is a new monthly event at Union Station, with lots of food trucks and a little bit of shopping. Racked was a little underwhelmed by the options but has high hopes for the location.

MID-WILSHIRE, ETC.: Hey, it's LA Fashion Week again and lots of designers have returned. That Grand Avenue fashion village never showed, but Racked thinks producer Concept could be LAFW's savior--this season they've set up at the Ace Gallery on Wilshire and the kick-off party was "like a more glamorous version of a gallery party at the monthly DTLA artwalk."
