This 1917 Craftsman located a few blocks north of Silver Lake's celebrated Happy Foot Sad Foot sign hit the market in late January. Commenters were less than kind (sad foot), denouncing the home's painted floors and bricks in particular. While unpopular on Curbed, the paint job apparently wasn't a deterrent for bidders, with the property's status changed to "pending" after only two weeks on the market (happy foot). Final sale price: $875,000--$40K less than asking (sad foot), but only $15K less than its 2008 sale price (happy foot). [Redfin]
