LA/Ontario International is the prettiest airport at the ball right now--ten companies have applied to take over its management from Los Angeles World Airports. The city of Ontario is playing headgames, however, and did not submit an application. The City Manager tells the Daily Breeze that the city is negotiating with LAWA and "willing to examine whether a private company should manage Ontario airport, but only after the facility is placed under his city's direct control."
