Eastsider LA reports the failed Durbin condo project at Echo Park and Delta avenues---also dubbed Smurf Village due to the blue wood that was used--has been listed for sale. Land Advisors Organization, a national firm with corporate offices in Irvine, has been hired to find a buyer, and a rep tells the blog said that "offers would be evaluated at the end of the month but would not say when and if an offer would be selected," according to the blog. Echo Park residents have been living with the failed construction site for almost two years--it's now just part of the landscape. [Eastsider LA]
