Chateau D'Or, an 18th century French estate-inspired spread in Bel-Air, has been off and on the market, but most recently returned last fall listed for $39.995 million. The price has dropped $5 million--the equivalent of the sellers tossing one of those gold-encrusted chandeliers out the window. It's a steal now at $34.995 million.
