Los Angeles has scratched off five out of the nine neighborhood arts facilities on its "to privatize" list--the four facilities in Barnsdall Park and the West Adams William Grant Still Art Center will stay city-run. Still up for privatization are the Madrid Theater in Canoga Park, the Warner Grand in San Pedro, the Vision Theater in Leimert Park, and the Lincoln Heights Youth Art Center, which just opened recently.
