When it comes to new condos in Koreatown, the last couple of years saw the arrival of three big projects: Solair, Mercury, and the Summit on Sixth. Everyone knows the Solair isn't currently sold out, but the Mercury did, according to Kennedy Wilson, which took over the building. And now another press release from Kennedy Wilson state that all the condos at the Summit on Sixth, an adaptive re-use of an office building on Sixth Street, have sold. Judging from what Kennedy Wilson has said before, that would mean that 78 of the 96 units sold since Kennedy Wilson took over sales last May. "From the press release: "International real estate investment and services firm Kennedy Wilson (NYSE: KW) today announced that all units of The Summit, a 12-story condominium tower in Los Angeles’ Koreatown, have been sold." The good news, it would seem, is that the huge banner on the side of the building can finally come down.
