Downtown NFL stadium developer AEG addressed what sounds like a pretty uneventful meeting of the city's Ad Hoc Committee on the Downtown Stadium and Convention Center Renovation yesterday. The big news: the environmental impact report should be out in January or February and is expected be 10,000 pages. The details of that new deployable roof are still being worked out. And the stadium "is really being designed as an event center, and as an adjunct and expansion opportunity for the L.A. Convention Center," according to an AEG official. [LAT/OC Register/CNS]
