LOS FELIZ: Is it sign season or what? Yesterday was LACMA and today it's Barnsdall Park, which got this big new display this morning. City Councilmember Eric Garcetti writes on his Facebook page: "Thrilled to join with the community this morning to unveil the new Barnsdall Park sign that we hope will encourage more Angelenos to check it out." The sign calls attention to the goodies inside the park, which the Frank Lloyd Wright Hollyhock House and the Municipal Art Gallery. [Facebook]
MIRACLE MILE: Does this mean all systems are go on the revamped plan for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences museum? Yesterday, AMPAS announced that Disney CEO Bob Iger will chair the museum's capital campaign with Tom Hanks and Annette Bening as co-chairs.
