That groovy double circle house in Encino has sold at a big discount. The house was designed by Benton Park Candreva for nightclub king Joby Lewis (he gave Rowan and Martin their big break) and his wife Helen Lewis; it was still packed with original details when it went on the market in July asking $2.9 million. After a couple of chops, it sold late last month for $1.8875 million. We hear that the buyers are in the art/design world, so hopefully they'll take good care of this one. [Curbed LA/Redfin]
