The alleged "palm rustlers," who are accused of stealing several Mid-City palm trees off the side of the 10 Freeway, have been slapped with a lawsuit. Caltrans is also doing an internal investigation to see if its employees were involved and CHP is conducting a criminal investigation. [NBC LA, previously]
