Granted, there's a bit of a gloomy, cheerless vibe coming off this 1920s Hollywood bungalow. Plus, it seems to have been visited by the dreaded Vinyl Window Fairy. And furthermore, the block it's on--Gordon between Sunset and Fountain--isn't especially charming. On the other hand, there still seems to be a fair amount of vintage character remaining in the three bedroom, one bath residence, which features hardwood floors, high ceilings, a laundry room, upgraded copper plumbing, and a decent-sized lot. Another significant point in the 1,300 square foot house's favor: while its block may not be the prettiest, it is situated within walking distance of any number of useful places, including the Arclight Cinemas, Amoeba, Trader Joe's, and Alwazir, to name a few. Originally listed for $559,000 back in April, it's now asking $479,000.
