Hollywood Unbound reports that things are actually moving along with the Hollywood Freeway Central Park, which would cap the 101 through Hollywood with a 44 acre park. The Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles has voted to go ahead with a deal to work with the Bureau of Engineering and the Friends of the Hollywood Freeway Central Park on preparing an environmental impact report and an environmental impact statement. They also approved up to $2 million in funds for the process. [Hollywood Unbound]
