Welp, it looks like there's a vacancy in one of Echo Park's Atwater Bungalows again. Designed in the early 1930s by Aztec Hotel architect Robert Stacy-Judd, the pair of bungalows are constructed from thick, unfinished stucco and have Pueblo-style features in the windows, stairways, and doors. Per the Craigslist posting, the available adobe has two bedrooms and was "recently restored [with] new hardwood floors throughout as well as updated electrical and plumbing. The restoration also included a vintage Wedgewood Stove, mica lamps and restored period fixtures throughout." Other features include "a working kiva\hopi fireplace, a modern heating and air conditioning system, walk-in closets, a rooftop deck, laundry and pantry-room." The ad notes that cats, dogs, and horses are welcome, and that "early tenants will be able to help pick [paint] colors." Monthly rent for the bungalow, sited on a four-acre property adjacent to Elysian Park, is $3,600.
