Weegee in Los Angeles

Tabloid photographer Weegee (aka Arthur H. Fellig) is known for his photos of New York and his New York monograph Naked City. But he also spent a handful of years in Los Angeles "and took thousands of photographs, many of which wound up in 'Naked Hollywood' (1953)." Now those photos have been republished in art historian Richard Meyer's Naked Hollywood: Weegee in Los Angeles, which includes a "full-scale reproduction of the 1955 pulp paperback reissue of 'Naked Hollywood.'"
