The Pasadena Star-News reports that the financing gap for the Rose Bowl renovation project has ballooned from $12 million to $20 million since construction started earlier this year. The total cost of the three year project has risen from $152 million to $160 million. Rose Bowl officials "plan to plug at least a portion of the funding gap with $4 million in projected revenue from the 2014 Bowl Championship Series title game." [PSN]
