Maybe it's the speeding trains, the underground tunnels, the killer views from the stations, or possibly the deep baritone emanating from County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, but this video of Yaroslavsky riding the soon-to-be-open Expo Line is getting us hot under the collar (ok, not exactly, but it's pretty cool). The supe talks up the train, saying the $930 million first phase to Culver City will prove a good investment for the city. An opening this year definitely seems out, according to Yaroslavsky, who says "we hope at the beginning of the year we can cut the ribbon and open this line for public service."
