The good folks at Good are working with LA city planning and LADOT on that new LA/2B project, crowdsourcing ideas for better and more complete Los Angeles streets. Today they share this killer commuting graphic that quantifies the ways we get around town and compares a few of those numbers to New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. We have a way higher percentage of carpoolers than those other cities, but also a way higher percentage of solo drivers (guess where they all make up for it). And holy cow, there are 1,219,285 commuting vehicles in Los Angeles.
