Major buzzkill in Manhattan Beach, where the city council has just voted to hold next summer's Six-Man Volleyball Tournament in the middle of the week: "With complaints about drunken partygoers and jam-packed streets still fresh from the summer, Manhattan Beach plans to shift the dates of a popular annual volleyball competition to control the crowds."
