The world's most enduring movie star sprinkled her legacy all over this city and in honor of the latest movie on her life--My Week With Marilyn, starring Michelle Williams, out in two weeks--the Huffington Post documented Marilyn's most famous local stomping grounds. The list includes Hollygrove, the former orphanage on El Centro where she grew up; the recently-restored Charlie Hotel on Sweetzer, which she once called home, and the Beverly Hills Hotel bungalow in which she had an affair with Yves Montand, her costar in Let's Make Love. Of course, no LA Marilyn list would be complete without the Westwood Memorial Cemetery, where she resides in wall crypt 24 in the Corridor of Memories. [Huffington Post]
