It's a big week for the Condo/Hotel Class of 2010. First we hear about all kinds of changes at the W Hollywood, and now here's word that new brokerage/Matt Damon film The Agency has been named sales and marketing partner and the exclusive broker at the Ritz-Carlton Residences at LA Live (which technically started sales in 2011). The Residences are the 224 luxury condos--one, two, and three bedrooms, plus 12 penthouses--on the top half of the Gensler-designed Ritz-Carlton/JW Marriott in South Park. The Agency is the mash-up of Real Househusband Mauricio Umansky, his father Eduardo Umansky, and design specialists Blair Chang and Billy Rose. At its formation in September, the firm announced it would have a New Development Division specially dedicated to selling luxury high-rise condos, and they certainly nabbed a big one out of the gate. Units at the R-C Residences start at $850,000. So far, 45 units have closed.
