Let's set our sails for the port of Long Beach, where we'll find this lovely International/Streamline Moderne-style specimen designed by local architect Hugh R. Davies in 1936. Known as the 20th Century House, the five bedroom, three and a half bath residence features, per its listing, walnut parquet flooring, porthole windows (though we didn't see any of those in the photos), vintage chandeliers, French doors, a woodburning fireplace, and a curved walnut staircase with copper rails. Last sold in 2007 for $1.25 million, it's now listed as a short sale for $875,000.
