Streetsblog reports that the citywide Bike Parking Ordinance is on its way to the City Attorney to be drafted. The Bike Parking Ordinance contains a number of mechanisms to increase bike parking around the city, including allowing businesses and landlords to replace some car parking with bike parking. For those of you keeping score at home, planning staff did not remove the allowances for bike parking in front of multi-family housing as suggested by a few commenters at last month's Planning and Land Use Management committee hearing.
