The Pasadena Star-News is hearing that the Paseo Colorado outdoor mall could be getting a hotel, along with some other upgrades to attract higher-end shops--the CEO of the Pasadena Convention Center drops a dime on the plans for "major renovation." The mayor tells the paper he thinks the hotel plan is "interesting" and says that it probably won't be getting the sweet subsidy deal the Paseo got from the city back in 1999. [PSN, image via]
