The board of the bankrupt Crystal Cathedral megachurch in Garden Grove has decided it wants to sell its campus to Chapman University: "Under the plan, Chapman University would purchase the campus for $50 million and allow the church ministry to lease and eventually buy back its core buildings." Those include the Philip Johnson-designed main church building. This news will surely disappoint all the atheists who were hoping to see some shit go down between the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange and the evangelical CC. [LAT]
