The 1936 DeKeyser duplex just west of Whitley Heights was designed by Rudolph Schindler and it's a literal stone's throw from Frank Lloyd Wright's Freeman House. It's also pretty close to the Red Line, which you'd probably want to use if you lived here, since the house has no garage, no driveway, and no street parking. The listing says that there is "City Permitted Parking on Glencoe Way," which is not exactly not a bit of a hike. The duplex itself has a two bedroom/one bathroom upper unit and a one bedroom/one bathroom lower unit. The DeKeyser last sold in 2006; listing agents The Value of Architecture described it then as a "European pied-a-terre" that's "not for the typical Angelino." The current listing doesn't say much and features exactly one photo. The building comes with a an adjacent .08 acre lot and together they're asking $1.199999 million.
